This week has been a little slow in the celebrestate sphere – it appears even the stars are not impervious to the sluggishness that accompanies the summer heat. But lucky for you we’ve rustled up what activity there may be and plastered it together here, for your midweek fix. Today we’re taking a tour of two West Coast homes owned by two very different superstars.
[ad#Google Adsense u tekstu]The first tour is a short visit to the much-gabbed-about pondside complex of Kmart heir Chris Kresge (say that five times fast). The white, waterside modern has been all over the blogosphere lately, and with good reason: such a fetching house deserves its fair share of attention.
The interiors of the main house are pretty standard – 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, open floor plan – but the home is just one part of a rather attractive 33-acre estate that includes a guest house, private hiking trails, a croquet and horseshoes lawn, and a paddling pond complete with island. Also included are a cabin and a caretaker’s apartment above the garage. Factor in the 90-minute drive time to Seattle, and this $1.6 million property in Anacortes, WA, is looking like quite the catch.
